About Us
Mission
The mission of Career Services, tied to the educational mission of the University and the Division of Student Affairs, is to support students and alumni in achieving their academic and career goals by assisting them in developing self-awareness, making informed decisions, acquiring experience and obtaining meaningful employment.
Students/Alumni
Career Services educates past and present students in the areas of self-assessment, career exploration, and job search techniques with the goal of helping them achieve lifelong career satisfaction and success.
Employers
Career Services serves employers through interactive and educational partnerships, exposing them to our high quality candidates from the 16 major academic departments.
The University Community
Career Services provides resources to augment the formal curriculum of the university and supports the objectives of other departments/offices through educational programming, and provides lifelong services to University alumni, faculty and staff.
Community at Large
Career Services promotes new knowledge in the area of career development through ongoing assessment of the expectations, satisfaction, and perceptions of various demographic groups that utilize and work within the office.
