About Us
Mission
The office of Career Services exists to support and enhance the mission of the University at Buffalo and the Division of Student Affairs. The office serves as a liaison between diverse constituencies with past and present students as its primary focus.
Students
The Office of Career Services educates past and present students in the areas of self-assessment, career exploration, and job search techniques with the goal of helping them achieve lifelong career satisfaction and success.
Employers
The Office of Career Services serves employers through interactive and educational partnerships, exposing them to our high quality candidates from the 16 major academic departments.
The University Community
The Office of Career Services provides resources to augment the formal curriculum of the university and supports the objectives of other departments/offices through educational programming, and provides lifelong services to University alumni, faculty and staff.
Community at Large
The Office of Career Services promotes new knowledge in the area of career development through ongoing assessment of the expectations, satisfaction, and perceptions of various demographic groups that utilize and work within the office.
