Career Services - Mentor Links:

Welcome to the UB Meet-a-Mentor Program!

Co-sponsored by the Office of Career Services and the UB Alumni Association, the Meet-a-Mentor Program now has a volunteer base of more than 550 alumni, parents, and employers from around the globe. Our mentors serve as a resource to UB students and recent graduates, offering their perspective on career choice, internships, job searching, continuing education and professional advancement. Since 1991, this program has become a valuable tool to assist members of the UB community with the transition from college to the workplace, career changes, and networking.

If you have an interest in helping UB students learn more about occupations, job searching, and the important process of networking, then you are eligible to be a UB mentor. Mentors are comprised of alumni, employers, and parents of UB students, as well as members of the Western New York community.

Thanks for your interest and if you haven't done so already, we hope that you will sign up to be a mentor in the near future!

The Meet-A-Mentor Program database is to be used solely as a means to connect those exploring careers with volunteers who are experienced in those careers. Using mentor information in an inappropriate manner (i.e. sales) will result in termination of the user's access to all online career office services.
