About BullsEye

What is BullsEye?

BullsEye is a password-protected portion of the Career Services website through which UB students and graduates can access career-related tools and resources. You must log in using your UB IT name and password to use BullsEye. Search job/internship postings, view employer information, upload your resume, and more!

Who can use BullsEye?

BullsEye is available to currently registered matriculated UB students and graduates.

What is included in BullsEye?

Job/Internship Vacancies - View hundreds of full-time, part-time, summer/seasonal, on/off campus jobs and internships from local, national and international employers who seek UB candidates from a wide variety of majors. (Our system also has an easy way to email your resume in response to openings by employer request).

Resume Referral - Submit your resume(s) to us online. Hundreds of registered employers who are seeking candidates for a job or internship can view your resume.

On-Campus Interviewing - Many employers visit each year to interview on campus for full-time, part-time job and internship opportunities. See which employers are coming to campus, submit your resume for their consideration, and if selected for an on-campus interview, sign up for an interview time.

Meet a Mentor - This service consists of a group of nearly 600 caring professionals (alumni, parents, employers and other friends of the University) in various occupations and geographic locations who are willing to meet and discuss what they do for a living. This is a great service to find out more about an occupation. If you are pursuing employment, it can also be useful to meet with a mentor to ask questions about how to best conduct your job search or to network with people who can help. Simply review the mentors in the database and contact them in the manner they indicated. Student evaluations are very positive about how helpful these mentor volunteers have been. We hope you will take advantage of this service!

How do I log in to the BullsEye?

To access your account with BullsEye Services, simply follow these steps:

Why can I not proceed after I log in?

You may be having trouble because you have not yet completed or updated your Profile. There are several mandatory fields that must be completed before being permitted to move forward. Please read the answer below for Profile instructions.

What is the Profile section to be completed after I log in?

Your Profile
After successfully logging in, you will be asked to complete the profile section. Much of the information about you may be completed already if you graduated after September 1, 1998 because it was provided to us by UB's Student Response Center. Be sure your contact information - including your email address - is current as this will allow our office and employers to contact you. (If you do change any contact information, be sure to change it with the Student Response Center as well.) Answer all questions in your profile carefully.

You should complete the keywords portion if you are seeking a job/internship and especially if you are going to have your resume in the Resume Database for employers to view. When employers seek resumes, they search by corresponding keywords such as major, graduation year, geographic preference, etc. NOTE: Some keyword questions allow more than one answer.

Important! Click “Yes” at the checkbox that says:
Resume Information and Release

By selecting the YES option to the Resume Information and Release, you authorize Career Services to release your resume(s) and any additional documents you submit, including keywords, self-reported data, and selected information imported from University records for the purposes related to employment and/or other vocationally related opportunities. You understand that the above information will be conveyed using a number of methods, including electronically, such as via the Internet. If you select "No" to this question, employers will not be able to view your resume or other information in your profile. If you plan to participate in the On Campus Interviewing program, you must grant employers access to your uploaded documents.

I forgot/do not know my UB IT name and password.

In order to use our BullsEye services, you will need to know your UBIT name and password. Most people who were admitted to UB in 1997 or after have a UB IT name. Although your UBIT name may not work for other on-campus applications if you are an alum, it will work to log in to BullsEye.

If you were admitted in or after 1997 and do not know your UBIT name, complete the BullsEye Student/Alumni Login Problems Form online.

If you do not remember your UBIT password, please contact the CIT Help Desk at 716-645-3542 or cit-helpdesk@buffalo.edu.
